Everett McEwan has been busy building his 1/32 Academy F/A-18A+ VMFA-115 CAG.  This is a very in-depth article full of very helpful info.  Part 2 will be on ARC tomorrow.....enjoy. 


Igor Svetlov (IS) is here with his 1/72 Hasegawa Brewster Model 339C Buffalo.  Igor was determined to make his Buffalo more accurate and he spent much effort fixing details to get the results he wanted.  He talks about this in his article.  A very well done build with a lovely paint job.   


Miroslav Adamovic joins us with his 1/48 Academy MiG-21SMT.  This particular Iraqi Mig has quite the history as Miroslav details in his article.  Miroslav's Mig has many improvements including a resin cockpit and details wheel well and one very eye catching desert camo scheme.   


Simon Lewis has dropped by with his  1/48 Classic Airframes De Havilland Hornet FMk3.  Although this is a limited run kit....Simon completed it is fine fashion and ended up with an excellent example of this aircraft for his display case.   


I have a review of the  1/32 resin F-105D/F-105B Fin and Rudder correction set from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This set will help correct the shape issues on the tail of this kit.

Lunar New Year - Spring Festival

Justin Davenport is here with his 1/100 Tamiya Space Shuttle Orbiter Challenger  to honour the heros of the Challenger accident today on the 20th Anniversary of the loss of the Space Shuttle Orbiter Challenger.  


Erik "Wiggy" Smith has been very busy building his 1/48 Monogram B-17G.  This is one very impressive model.  Read Erik's article for the horrific history of this battle weary B-17.

Stefan Woltmann begins today's update with his 1/48 Hasegawa Messerschmidt Me 109 F2.  Stefan improved the detail on his 109 and finished it in a paint scheme from France in 1941.   


Tamás Skriba has been busy building his beautifully done 1/72 Iraqi airfield diorama.  This diorama includes quite a few models....including the 1/72 KP MiG-21MF, 1/72 Italeri Su-25K and a 1/72 Su-25UB as well as so much more. 


Hiran Horta is here with his 1/48 Typhon Hasegawa in partial D-Day stripes.  Always good to see aircraft in D-Day stripes. 


Joe Volz has dropped by with his 1/48 Hasegawa A4D-2 Skyhawk.  Joe painted his A-4 in the colours of the second prototype......quite the eye catching paint scheme if I do say so myself.  Joe includes plenty of info if you want to build this particular bird.

Aamod Potdar joins us with his Indian Air Force 1/72 Italeri Mirage 2000D.  Aamod includes helpful info about building his Mirage.

Scott Brown is here from Downunder with his 1/48 Smer Supermarine Seagull V - Walrus Mk II.  Scott includes some interesting history behind this involved looking aircraft as well as building this model. 


Polly Singh is here with his 1/48 Occidental Spitfire Mk IX.  Polly provides historical info and construction help for this very nice spitfire.  


Scott Brown (Ozgenie) has built the 1/48 High Planes CAC Avon Sabre.  These are a special F-86 and Scott provides good info if you want to build one of these special aircraft. 


Polly Singh is here with his Indian Air Force 1/72 Hobbycraft DHC-3 Otter.  Polly includes plenty of interesting historical info as well as info about building his Otter.  


Murli Rajan is here with his 1/72 Italeri Jaguar T2 in Indian Air Force markings.  Murli used decals he made himself.  


Polly Singh is here with a colourful 1/72 Airfix Boulton Paul Defiant.  This was not the easiest conversion....but Polly stuck with it and got her done......I really like the paint scheme.  


Scott Brown (Ozgenie) has been busy building his big 1/24 Airfix Spitfire 1a.  This is a Battle of Britain Spitfire and Scott includes in-progress photos and much info in his article.

Gabriel Stern is here with his 1/72 Heller Dewoitine D-510.  This is a unique looking little kit and looking quite good after Gabriel worked his magic.

Thierry Jacques begins today's update with his 1/72 Dragon/Revell Heinkel He-162 in French Air Force markings.  Thierry built his very nice looking He-162 out of the box. 


Tolga Ulgur stopped by the ARC Corporate offices with his 1/48 Hasegawa P-40N Warhawk.  I always enjoy seeing Tolga's work on ARC.....the cockpit detailing and weathering is always inspiring for me.  


Mark L. Rossmann has been busy building his 1/48 Monogram B25J with Cutting Edge Decals.  Mark built this model a long time ago and recently refinished it to create this Russian beauty.  


Paolo Yuen is here with his  1/144 Revell AV-8B Harrier II Plus.  This is a very small little model......but Paolo did a fine job on it and turned it into a Spanish Naval Harrier.

Charles Johnson begins the week with his 1/48 Academy CH 46 SeaKnight.   Charles built this colourful beauty out of the box and he covers it in his article.


Andre' Bruinsma has been busy building his 1/32 Trumpeter A7Andre' built his A-7 mostly out of the box except for the markings which he decided to paint on himself.  The weathering and weapons make this a very real looking jet.


Micah Reysio-Cruz is here with his first article on ARC.  This is his 1/48 Academy/Hasegawa F4U-4 done up as a Korean War corsair complete with weathering.  Welcome to ARC Micah!!!.   


Jason Cooper dropped by today with his 1/48 Italeri F-4 Phantom II.  Jason did some modifications to his F-4 to make it an Australian Phantom....complete with those wonderful "Roo" markings.

Jesús Alcocer is here with his  1/72 Smer Focke Wulf Fw-190 F8.  I always get a kick out of seeing these desert camo fighters....it's a treat to see this one.

Dominik Richard gets things started today with his 1/72 Italeri F-14A Tomcat.  Dominik did a beautiful job building and finishing his Tomcat.   


Jure Olaj has been busy the last 2 years building his 1/32 Bolkow Bo-105 "Hornisse".  This chopper comes with a scratch built cockpit and so much more.   


Laurent “Angus” Beauvais is here with his  1/48 Hasegawa F8E(FN) Crusader.  A carefully weathered F-8 in French markings. 


Fernando del Pino joins us from Spain with his  1/72 Vultee P-66 Vanguard  in WW2 Chinese markings.  This is a limited run kit but it builds up to quite the nice model.

Dirk Adel gets things started today with his 1/48 Tamiya Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat.  Dirk added a resin cockpit and other goodies to improve upon this very nice kit.  The results look very good. 


Paul Hayes is here with his  1/48 Hasegawa F-104G.  This is a beautifully built Spanish F-104 with some very realistic photos. 


Stefan Woltmann joins us with his  1/48 Hasegawa Messerschmidt Me 109 E 4/7 "Wespe".  Stefan added photo etch seatbelts to add some detail to the cockpit and finished it off with a very eye catching paint scheme.   


Robin has been busy building his tiny 1/350 Trumpeter F-14 Tomcats 'Final Tomcat Cruise'.  This came out looking very good.  


QC Tan has his article describing his very simple and creative Cheapo DIY PE Bending Tool.

István Hevesi begins today's update with his 1/24 Airfix Spitfire Mk-1a.  István built his big Spitfire directly out of the box.....quite the involved level of detail.


Vjekoslav Ranec joins us from Croatia.  He has been busy building his 1/48 Revell F-15E Strike Eagle Diorama.  His article gives the details of building this very nice kit.   


Olivier Pinsolle is here with his  1/48 Aconcagua EMB - 312F TUCANO.  This is a resin kit, but Olivier kept at it and turned it into a "head-turner".....I love the instrument panel photo...great detail.  


J.C. Bahr dropped by the ARC Corporate offices with his 1/72 Hasegawa Boeing RB-47E Stratojet.  JC gives full details on building this beauty.

Gabriel Stern begins the week with his 1/72 Heller DH 89 Dragon Rapide.  It's interesting to see a biplane passenger aircraft.


Erik Wauters has been busy building his superdetailed 1/144 Revell F-5E Tiger II.  Good grief.....you have to see what he did to this tiny plane.


Hal Marshman Sr joins us with his 1/48 Tamiya Bf-109E3 done up quite nicely in Hptmn Josef Priller markings from 1940.


Eric Bade is here with his  1/72 Fujimi Mig-21 Bis.  Eric did a fair anmount of extra detailing to his MiG and finished off in markings for a very famous MiG.  His article tells the history of this aircraft as well as what he did to build this model.

Fernando del Pino is here from Spain gets things started today with his 1/72 Caproni-Vizzola F.5.  Fernando did extra scratchbuilding to the cockpit and landing gear in his finely done F.5. model to complete the detail.


Vince Lucente dropped by today with his 1/48 ESCI US-3A Viking.  Vince did the paint scheme up right on this one and followed it up with weathering to get the look just right.


PS joins us with his 1/72 Hasegawa Hellcat Mk I.  PS did  plenty of extra detailing to his British Hellcat including a resin engine and other details items.  The then rescribed the panel lines and gave it  some light weathering after he had finished the paint scheme.

John McCormick starts today with his 1/32 Tamiya F-4D.  John was very busy on his big Phantom and went with a resin cockpit and a nice big weapons load as well as other goodies he talks about in his article as well as rescribing all the panel lines.


Rafi Ben-Shahar has been busy building his 1/48 Tamiya He 219A-7.  Rafi went crazy with Aires detail items on his He-219 and the followed it up with a first rate paint job.  An impressive He-219.

Maxime Pidara gets this started today with the 1/144 Academy Minicraft C-47.   Maxime chose to paint up this particular C-47 in D-Day stripes.  A very nice C-47.


Fýrat Saygýn has been busy building his 1/48 Airfix EA6B Prowler.   This is his first article on ARC and it is a stunner.  Fýrat chose to use the Pragon wing fold set and other goodies to detail his Prowler.


James Lollar is here with his 1/32 Hasagawa Bf-109G-6.  James took this very fine kit and built it into a very accurate looking model of this famous WW2 fighter.


Catherine Vickers stopped by the ARC Corporate offices with her very nicely done 1/72 Revell Hunter GA11 conversion.  Catherine details the total conversion in her article, which I think you'll find quite helpful if you considering the same conversion.

Pablo Girgulsky begins today's update with his 1/48 Monogram A-1J Skyraider.  Pablo weathered his Skyraider and loaded it with a weapons load and folded the wings to complete the look.  


Malcolm Reid joins us with his  1/32 Trumpeter F-105D Thunderchief.  Malcolm spent almost 2 years off and on building his big F-105....and the beautifully finished model shows the effort.

Chris St Clair gets things started today with his 1/72 Brilliant Buzzard.  This is an interesting looking bird and Chris provides plenty of info about building it.

John Jones gets things started today with his 1/48 Revell F/A-18E Super Hornet "Camelot 200".  John posed his good looking F/A-18 model in a unique pose for a model.  Nice one John.   


John Yujuico is here with his  1/72 Zvesda iL-4.  This is not the prettiest plane ever designed....but that didn't stop John from doing it up nice.  


Matthias Simon is here with his 1/72 Horten Ho VII V-1 from Airmodel.  This is one cool looking version of the famous flying wings designed by Horten.  Matthias did a fine job on this little beauty.

Alvis 3.1 gets things started today with his White Star Line Airbus A-380.  It looks like the Titanic is hauling passengers once again!!!   


Steve 'Buster' Keeton is here with his 1/144 B-17 What If Burt Rutan Was Chief Designer.  This is one of the wackier B-17 designs.  


Colin and Kelly have been busy building their Lego Airfield.  This is very cool!!!
