Angelo M Picardo
has been very busy adding detail to his 1/72 Italeri Westland Wessex HU.5.
Angelo added a resin cockpit from Pavla Models as well as more
detail to his Royal Navy Rescue Wessex. The finished models
looks superb!!!

KNES Armin built
his 1/144 Revell A-90 Ekranoplane years ago and he has just
finished rebuilding it to a much higher level of detail. He
cut off the nose to display it in the open position to help show off
the scratchbuilt cargo bay he also added to his Ekranoplane.
The rebuilt model is quite the detail rich model of this
famous Russian aircraft.

David Walker
joins us today with one of my favourite ground attack
aircraft. This is his 1/48 Hasegawa Hawker Typhoon Mk1B
in RAF markings complete with D-Day stripes on the underside.
David really did this wonderful aircraft justice with his
Typhoon.....I know you're going to enjoy seeing this one.

|
|
Francone Diego
has done a lovely job
building his 1/72 Hasegawa F-14A.
Francone added resin seats to add more detail to the
cockpit, which is a very good way to build the 1/72 Hasegawa
F-14. The finished models looks excellent.

Blackheart
gets things stated today with a truly impressive 1/24 MPC P-51D Mustang.
Blackheart has this Mustang in a diorama undergoing
landing gear maintenance, so one of the wings is supported while the
landing gear is checked. Other areas of the model are exposed
to show the rich detail of this big Mustang. Wow!!!

Malcolm Reid has
done an outstanding job on his 1/48 Hasegawa F-14A Tomcat. Malcolm
added an Aires cockpit set and a full weapons load, one open and one
closed exhaust to all add a level of realism to his Tomcat.
Then the crowning touch was Jolly Roger markings and a beautifully
shades/weathered paint job to show the Tomcat in all it's USN glory.

|
|
|
Rafi Ben-Shahar
has a treat for your eyes. This is his 1/48 Hasegawa Ki-45 Kai Tei Toryu
"Nick"
done up in a very attractive camo scheme. This camo scheme
would intimidate most modellers, but Rafi pulled it off
flawlessly.

|
|
|
Dragan Cvetic has
got everything looking just right on his 1/72 Zvezda MiG-21. This
particular MiG-21 has a full weapons load, darkened panels lines and

a great looking aircraft.

Tolga ULGUR
gets things started today with his amazing 1/48
Tamiya Messerschmitt Bf-109 E7. This aircraft served in
Libya during 1942. Tolga added extra detail to the cockpit and
exhausts with detail items from Eduard and Ultracast. One thing
that is really neat about this North African 109 is that one wing is
painted in European camo....as that wing was borrowed from another
aircraft and hadn't been repainted yet. Tolga did his usual
perfect job finishing and weathering his 109.
|
|
|
|
|
Darrell Murray
is here to WOW you with his 1/48 ESCI Saab SK37E Viggen.
Darrell rescribed the panel lines and scratchbuilt his own
2 seat conversion the hard way and then used goodies from TwoMike's resin, Maestro Models, Neomega, Eduard, MV products, Hobby decal and TwoBobs
to pull this whole project together. This is an amazing model
Darrell has created.
|
|
|
|
|
Carmel J Attard
has been busy getting
things right on his very sharp looking 1/74 Glencoe Martin MB-2 Bomber.
This is an older kit and rather complicated being a twin engine
bi-plane, but Carmel pulled it all together to create his big American
bomber.
|
|
|
|
|
Andrew Johnson
has done an
exceptionally nice job building and weathering his 1/72 Trumpeter F-105D.
Andrew dressed up his F-105 with goodies from Eduard before
giving his Thud a full weapons load and a very realistic weathering
job.

Greg Goheen
is here with his exceptionally well done 1/48 Hasegawa Henschel Hs 129B-3.
This kit has a number of added goodies included in the kit by
Hasegawa. Greg did a very fine job building it and then gave
it this eye popping paint scheme. I love it!!!
|
|
|
|
|
Terry Chan
has completed building his 1/32 Cutting Edge/Tamiya F-16XL.
This is a mostly resin model and it does require some
special patience to get it done right, but Terry was more than up to
the task and he did turn out a great looking model in the NASA
scheme. It's great to see one of these completed.......well
done Terry!!!

Shawn "Phantom" Weiler
is here with a 1/48 Revell Monogram Canso (PBY)

great on any model.

|
Eugenio E. Alés
is here with something very special. This is his 1/48 Tamiya Douglas F-4D-1
Skyray in VF-84 Jolly Rogers "What if" markings.
I must say VF-84 markings look great on the Skyray. Eugenio
did a perfect job weathering and shading the paint job to make this
Skyray look very realistic.

|
|
|
|
Artur Oslizlo
joins us with another of his masterpieces. This is his 1/48 Tamiya Bf
109E-7
with SBS-Model cockpit, Master Gun barrels and Quickboost
exhaust pipes. Of course what really makes this 109 stand out
is the excellent job Artur did building and finishing it. I
always enjoy seeing Artur's latest model.

Massimiliano Bianchi starts
off today's update with his big 1/32 Revell Hawker Hunter. Large
scale models such as this Hunter leave plenty of options for
detailing and Massimiliano took advantage of this and used the
Eduard PE for the Radar, Avionics Bay and parachute housing before
finishing it off in the markings of the Oman Air Force. Very
nicely done Massimiliano.

David Rapasi is
here with another of his jaw dropping models. This is his 1/48 Monogram PBY Catalina
finished off in the faded weathered paint that David does so
expertly.

Shawn "Phantom" Weiler is
well respected here on ARC and today he joins us with #120 and 121

Angelo M Picardo has
turned out an exceptionally well detailed 1/72 Revell Westland Sea King HU.5.
Angelo added a set from Eduard, then added plenty of his own scratchbuilt detailing before
finishing off his SAR Sea King in weathering and Model Alliance
decals. Wow and all in 1/72.....it doesn't get much nicer than
this.

Giannis Doxas begins
today with a model that you really need to check out. This is
his 1/48 Classic Airframes RF-5A Freedom Fighter which is
LOADED with scratchbuilt detail. The Classic Airframes kit is
not the best fitting kit but Giannis turned it into a
masterpiece. It is finished in Hellenic Air Force markings.
Wow.......I do like the look of this model.
|
|
|
|
|
Istvan Havril added
some scratchbuilt details to his 1/48 Eduard Yak-3. He
then gave it full but subtle weathering and then finished it off in
the colourful markings for a fighter during WW2. Very nicely
done Istvan.
