ARC clicked over the 10 million hit mark to it's Homepage about a day ago.  Amazing....who would've figured.

Darren Roberts begins today's update with his 1/48 Hasegawa A-7D Corsair II. Great paint scheme and very well done.


Eric Bade is here with an article featuring a Tuskegee Airmen P51D Mustang 1/72 Hasegawa and 1/48 Tamiya.  One of these is by his friend Oliver.......nice nose art.   


Dmitriy Shapiro has sent in an article of his 1/72 Heller F-18A Hornet.  This plane is A21-3 of the RAAF....gotta love those Aussie aircraft. 


Gerhardt Ekermans has dropped by with an article on his 1/32 Hasegawa Supermarine Spitfire Mk1.  This is the early paint scheme with the black and white bottom.  Check out the cockpit detail.


Gerd Kuijpers has been kind enough to send in a Tools n Tips article on How to make an easy display base.  Gerd has included lots of in-progress pics to help explain everything.


I have a preview of the upcoming 1/48 F-16C OIF Vipers decal sheet from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics.  This particular sheet features the F-16C from the Gamblers that was tasked with taking out the AH-64 that was downed in Iraq. 


I have a review of the 1/32 F-105 Fancy Girls Part 1 from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This sheet features Pussy Galore II and Memphis Belle II.  This review contains nudity.


I have a AMtech new product announcement.  They will be releasing 3 versions of the F2H Banshee.  I've included pictures of the 3 Banshee models to give you a rough idea of which versions will be released.


Monday, Sept 29  2003

Glenn Cook starts today with his 1/32 Hasegawa F6F-3 Hellcat.  Glenn did a fair bit of work on his big Hellcat including a very good technique for the navigation lights.  He's included a pic of the cockpit, which has a very nice level of detail. 


Murph is here with his 1/72 Fujimi A-4C.  Murph has included a nice informative article about the history of the A-4 and the building of his particular A-4.....grab a coffee or tea and sit back and enjoy the read. 


Jacek Widziszowski (from Poland) joins us from Poland with his 1/48 Revell/Monogram Messerschmitt Bf-110 G4/R3.  The paint scheme on this one has to be seen to be believed.  Amazing.....simply amazing.


Yusof Zakaria has finished his 1/48 Revell F-15E.  He chose the markings for the 391st Fighter Squadron A/C 90-227.  The panel line shading is extremely well done....as is the rest of this Mudhen. 


I have a review of the 1/48 F-15E Operation Iraqi Freedom decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This has markings for 4 different F-15E's with noseart that served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.


Justin Davenport has picked up the Polar Lights USS Enterprise and sent in a review.  This kit is for the Enterprise from the original Star Trek series.  This kit is quite well done and inclusive.

Nkululeko Jansson is here today with his first article on ARC.  This is Nkululeko's 1/48 Academy Mirage FIII done up in South African markings.  Got to hand it to South Africa.....they have flown a varied selection of aircraft.  Welcome to ARC Nkululeko.    


Franck Oudin is here to treat you to his 1/48 Revell Ju-88 C6 (Dragon/DML).  Take a close look at the camo on this one......it's extremely impressive. 


Somchai "Blackeyes" from Thailand is here with his 1/72 Fujimi F-4 "Phamtom Fever".  Cool to see a British Phantom with a Sharks mouth.


Dimitri Verdoodt is here with his Johnnie Johnson's Spitfire oil painting.  I wish I had the talent for creating art even slightly close to this quality. 


There's a company in the UK called Scale Model Accessories Ltd that is producing a selection of 1/72 Aircraft figures and accessories.  These figures would be perfect for a 1/72 diorama.

Darius Aibara begins your weekend with his 1/48 Academy Mirage V BR.  The flame-job markings are of the "Mephisto" Mirage V BR of No.42 Squadron Belgian AF circa 1990.  


Andy Stark joins us with his first article today on ARC.  This is Andy's 1/48 Hasegawa Typhoon Mk. 1B is weathered and detailed to a beautifully realistic degree.


Ivan Pliopas is here from Brazil with his 1/72 Italeri C-119G.  This big ol' plane is also beautifully detailed and weathered.  This one is a real treat to see......don't skip it because it's a cargo plane.  


Matias Dadone has done an Inbox Preview of the 1/48 Italeri Tornado IDS Navy Strike Fighter.  This is also Matias first article on ARC.  Thanks Matias.

  Jewish New Year's Eve 

Alan Williamson begins today's update with his 1/48 Tamiya Hyakushiki Shitei III Kai Air Defence Fighter.  This is quite the sleek twin engine fighter. 


Ray Seppala is here with his "what-if" 1/72 Italeri X-35 JSF in Royal Australian Air Force  markings.  always great to see a plane with a Roo on the side. 


Mirko Meier is here from Peru 1/48 Tamiya Do-335 .  Mirko added a bunch of Verlinden resin to detail his Do-335. 


Phillip Steele joins us with his 1/72 Monogram F-105 G Wild Weasel.  I love the sharks mouth  and camo scheme on this one. 


I have a review of the upcoming 1/48 F/A-18E VFA-115 decal sheet featuring OIF Screamin' Eagles from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics.  This decal sheet includes much in the way of 9-11 related artwork. 


I have a review of the new 1/48 F-8 Crusader decal sheet from Albatros Modelworks.  This sheet features aircraft from the US, France, Philippines.

Radim Schimmer joins us from the Czech Republic with his 1/72 MPM Curtiss XP-55 Ascender.  No doubt about it....this is one of the more creative post war American planes.


Peter Kozelj is here with his 1/48 Tamiya Me-262A-2a.  Peter has provided some excellent photos of the major sections of his 262 after painting but before final assembly.  The Camo job on this 262 is quite involved and well done.


Aleck Smith has built the 1/48 Merit SE5a Scout.  you'll get a kick out of this one....the kit dates back to the earlier days of plastic model kits back in 1962.  He picked up some tips on rigging on ARC.


I have a review of the 1/144 NB-52 "Balls Three" NASA Mother Ship  Resin conversion set for the Crown/Minicraft B-52H from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This set permits you to build a B-52 to hold an X-Plane under the wing.....tool cool!! 


I have a preview of the upcoming 1/32 and 1/48 F/A-18C Patriot Hornets decal sheet from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics.  This features two F/A-18C in Patriotic paint schemes....very nice to see......one features the US Navy Jack flag which should interest you USN guys.


Emad F.Tabsh has sent in a InBox Preview of the just released 1/48 Airfix BAe Hawk 100.  The kit decals include Aussie and Canuck markings. 


Gary Fairfull has sent in some pics from the recent Tiger Meet 2003....including a Quad 4 ATV in tiger markings as well as  a car....not to mention the ground crew in fake "Tiger skin" outfits.......An ARC regular flew in on a US tanker and you'll see pics of that. 


Everett McEwan has sent in a walkaround of the F-16C Block 30 Tiger Meet 2003.

  Saudi Arabia National Day  

Yusof Bin Zakaria is here with his 1/48 Revell A-6E.  Yusof did some excellent weathering to his Gulf War Intruder and finished it in the markings for VA-36 "ROADRUNNERS" CVW-8 CVN-71 USS Theodore Roosevelt.  Very nice.


Everett Román Gallegos has dropped by with his 1/48 Monogram OS2U-3 Kingfisher.  This particular Kingfisher is in the markings for the Chilean Navy.  Good to see this one. 


Randy Lutz has dropped by the ARC Corporate offices with his 1/48 Monogram Consolidated PBY-5.  Randy did lots extra work on this very fine kit to make it exactly the way he wanted it.  Darn fine job. 


Eric R. Engstrom is here with his first article on ARC.  This is Eric's 1/72 AMT/Ertl B-52G In Chrome Dome finish with the wings reworked to get that drooping look.......very realistic.  Welcome to ARC Eric.


I have a Preview of the 1/32 F-105D Hill AFB Wrap Around Thuds decal sheet from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics.  This one will be a very good and attractive option for the new 1/32 F-105 kit.

  Mali Independence Day 

Tolga Ulgur is here to begin our week with his 1/48 Hasegawa P-47 D28 Thunderbolt.  Tolga's "Jug" has a bare metal finish and eye catching bright checkers on the nose cowling and nose art text on the side of the fuselage. 


Ted Taylor has done it again....he's quickly finished a big new kit and done a lovely job at it.  This is Ted's 1/32 Academy F/A-18C Hornet done up in US NAVY Fighter markings using aftermarket goodies from Meteor Productions. 


Fabby Borromeo is here with his 1/48 Tamiya Douglas A-1J Skyraider.  The Skyraider has quite the soft spot with many ARC regulars and this one has nose art text and a very well done camo paint scheme.  


Here's a product article for the 1/48 B-26 Marauder decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This sheet features 3 different B-26's with noseart.  Two of the planes have noseart of attractive ladies.....one of which is nude ....so don't open this at work.  Warning!!! This review contains nudity. 


Stephane Marignacis here with some pictures and info about a new 1/48 French Crusader Conversion set from Flying Anvil.  This set will permit you to make an accurate French F-8.

  Malta Independence Day 

Ercan Karakas is here today with his big 1/32 Revell F-104 G Starfighter.  Ercan finished off his Starfighter in Turkish Airforce and has an open gun bay.  Quite nicely done.


Franck Oudin has dropped by today with his 1/32 Revell Bf-109 G-4 Trop.  This is done in Franck's usual very high quality.  The Tropical 109's always look good.


Dimitri Verdoodt  is here again with more of his artwork.  today he presents his is here again with more of his artwork.  Today he presents his F-104 painting and his F-16 MLU pencil line drawing.  Lovely work.

Eric Bade kicks of today with his 1/72 Hasegaw a Me-262A.  Eric built this kit a few years back but recently decided to repaint is.  Ahhhh.....262's.....such a fine jet. 


Christopher Price is stepping up to the plate with his first article today.  This is his 1/48 Tamiya Focke Wulf 190D-9 and it's very nicely done.  Great pics as well.   Welcome to ARC Christopher.


Ryan Chan is also here with his first article on ARC.  This is Ryan's recently completed 1/72 Hasegawa F-15B.  Ryan only sent in one pic of his F-15....it'd be nice to see more photos of this one.  Welcome to ARC Ryan.


Jörgen Toll has another review for us today.  This is the 1/48 Verlinden F-4 Phantom Super Detail Set and comes with resin and Photo Etch pieces.

   Saint Christopher (Kitts) and Nevis Independence Day   

Small update today.  I was busy at my job and didn't get home until 1am....I'm too tired to make up a full update.


Gianni Chirico begins today with his 1/72 Hasegawa  Mitsubishi  Zero Type 32.  Gianni did some very effective looking panel line paint chipping on this one. 


Darius Aibara is here with his 1/48 Premier RAF Hawk T Mk1A.  Another example of one of Darius's models from a non-mainstream kits.   Well done Darius.

  Chile Independence Day 

Steve Filak and myself have been improving things on the ARC Discussion Forums.  There's a new ranking system for each member as their total number of posts increases.  We've added more emoticons and little jets to indicate your ranking level.  I can almost hear the prop modellers groaning.     We hope this will make the ARC Discussion Forums more amusing to use.


Gary Wickham has a beautifully done 1/48 Hasegawa A-4E Skyhawk.  This one uses Two Bob aggressor decals for VF-45 Blackbirds. 


Ray Seppala is here with a nice change of pace.  This is his 1/144 Doyusha Ansett Fokker F27.  always good to see a wide variety on ARC. 


Deun Yu is here from Germany with his 1/72 Tamiya Rafale C.  Deun has included some excellent in-flight photos of his Rafale. 


Zdenek Fabik has completed a 1/72 Tamiya P-51D Mustang.  The painting and weathering and detailing on this one is stunning.....very hard to believe this is 1/72.  Lovely.

According to the poll yesterday, a very large majority don't want nude noseart censored.  I will post warnings on the ARC home page if a review contains nudity.  I will also have a warning towards the top of any future review containing nudity and arrange it so you have to scroll the review webpage to see the image containing nudity.  Thanks for your input.....I read every message


Pete "Pig" Fleischmann  has taken on a  big project.  He's building a Scratchbuilt 1/16th Scale AT-38B Talon.  He's included some pics of how he built the tail section.  Looks good so far. 


Murph is here with his 1/72 Italeri HS-129.  Murph has supplied a very interesting article full of history about this tank buster. 


Richard S. Hayward is here with his VX-4 1/48 Hasegawa F-8E.  I like how this one turned out....nice markings. 


Ed Fuquay is here with his 1/48 Hasegawa SBD Dauntless and yes he drilled out all the dive-brake holes!!!  Very nice finished models....great attention to detail. 


I have a review of the 1/48 Bf-109E The Augsburg Zoo decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This permits you to build 4 different Bf-109E's....all with artwork on the side. 


I have a review of the 1/48F-14B+ VF-32 "Gypsy" Swordsmen decal sheet  from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics.  Two F-14's are featured on this decal sheet and both performed many missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom.....one honors the Space Shuttle Columbia.


I have a review of the re-release of the 1/48  Canadian Armed Forces CF-18 Standard Markings Decal Sheet from Leading Edge Models.  This includes special decals for a CF-18B with Centennial of Flight artwork on the vertical stabs.

First up....there have been some folks that were offended by nudity in recent decal reviews.  I've adjusted the reviews slightly and I want your opinion.  Go to my message and vote on this nudity issue......first read my post.....check out the two links to the Albatros and Cutting Edge reviews in my message...then cast your vote.  ARC is a worldwide community, so I want everyone to vote.


Martin Glogar is here with a very nicely done 1/48 Hasegawa Bf-109K4.  The model and ground work look good together. 


David Porter is here with his big 1/32 Tamiya F-15C Eagle.  David has plenty of detail on display on his big F-15. 


Alan Williamson has two models for you to enjoy today.  This is his 1/48 Academy and Monogram P-38 Alan has included some history about this famous "Fork Tailed Devil" of  a fighter. 


Francisco Colaço is here with a very attractive 1/32 Revell Tornado GRI.   His model is finished in R.A.F. (Gulf War 1) markings.

OZMOD'S has a new kit out.  this is a preview photo of their 1/144 Martin B-57B Canberra.

Rafael Colindres  begins this special update with his 1/72 Heller MD 450 Ouragan.  This little gem is finished off in Salvadoran Air Force markings.  Rafael provides a detailed article on this building of his Ouragan.


Colin Whitehouse has finished his 1/72 Monogram GRB-36D and Italeri RF-84K combo.  This model includes some scratchbuilt parts to hoild the 2 models together.  But read Colin's article to learn more. 


Ed Fuquay has finished his 1/48 Hasegawa Corsair AU-1.  Ed calls his article “ONE MEAN MARINE MACHINE” and after looking at the weapons load on Ed's Corsair.....I have to agree with him.  


Sebastian Manfre has sent in pics and an article of his recently completed 1/48 Hasegawa F-14B.  Sebastian finished his Tomcat in VF-103 markings.  This will give the F-14 fans their daily fix. 


VFA-2 Public Affairs has sent in a  news release titled  VF-2 becomes VFA-2.  there's also some very nice pics as well. 


I've reviewed the new 1/32 F-105D decal sheet from Albatros Modelworks.  More noseart decals that Albatros Modelworks is famous for.  Included is Memphis Belle II, I Dream of Jeanie II, Pussy Galore II and Daisy Mae IIReview includes nudity.

Mazlan Yusof starts your update today with his 1/48 Frems Aermacchi MB339A.   Mazlan finished his MB339 in the national markings for the Royal Malaysian Airforce (RMAF).  I like the camo scheme on this one.


Trey Andrews is here with his 1/144 Arii P3C Orion.  Trey built this one in 3 days for his wife.....3 long days.  His articles tells all about it and explains how he did the runway. 


Pavlov Anton joins us with his 1/72 Zvezda/ Condor MiG-31B Foxhound.  It's always good to see Russian jets on ARC.  Nicely finished MiG-31. 


Igor Cernisevski is here with his 1/72 Dako YAK-9D.  A very well done model of this famous WW2 aircraft. 


Dimitri Verdoodt  has some of his artwork to share.  These are his Alouette 2 and Agusta A109 pencil line drawings.  I'll run more of his artwork (paintings) next Sunday.

Andrew Ludwig fires up today's update with his 1/32 Tamiya F-15E.  Andrew converted his big F-15E to an Israeli F-15I.  Very impressive. 


H.Ufuk Aydiner  is here with his 1/48 Italeri Kamov-50.  This Ka-50 ahs the usual high quality paint work an detailing Ufuk is well known for. 


Everett McEwan has finished his 1/48 Hobbycraft A-4E.  Everett has provided a nice and beautifully detailed article with plenty of pics of his Skyhawk. 


James Kelley  has built the 1/48 Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat in the markings for VF-17 Jolly Rogers, 1944.  I love the wings folded back. 


Jörgen Toll  is here with a review of the 1/48 Aires Cockpit set Hasegawa F-14A Tomcat. 


Jean-Paul Poisseroux  has a review of the 1/32 F-15 Resin Antenna and Intake covers from Plastic World Modeling Products.  Very interesting product.

Joshua Stockdale begins today's update with his 1/72 Academy F-14A Tomcat.  Joshua finished it in the markings from the “VF-32 Swordsmen” and added some subtle weathering.  


Richard Boxem is here with his 1/48 Tamiya A-1H Skyraider from the Vietnam era. Richard gave his Skyraider very colorful markings and a full weapons load.  Very nice.


Gianni Chirico  has dropped by with his 1/72 Revell Messerschmitt Me-262 A-1a.  This Me-262 is finished in the markings of WGr.21 III/JG-7 - Lechfeld Marzo in 1945.  A nice job on the camo....doing Luftwaffe camo in 1/72 can be a real test of patience.


Wannapong Ngamkasem is here with his 1/48 Fujimi D3A Val.  Wannapong built his Val basically out of the box and then added weathering. 


I have a review of the new 1/48 and 1/72 " Navy 1" S-3B Viking decal sheet from Yellow Hammer Decals.  This is the plane President George W. bush used for his Carrier landing aboard the Abe Lincoln on May 1 2003.


Josh Silver has sent in an in box preview of the Italeri reboxing which is now the 1/48 Revel F/A-18E.  We'll have to wait for the newly tooled Revell F-18E to arrive later this year.

My heart is heavy today as I ponder the evil events of 2 years ago.....my deepest sorrow is for the victims and their families.  The pain will last a lifetime.


Ken Middleton starts our model line-up today with his 1/72 Revell Germany Tornado Gr1 with Xtradecals 31 Squadron Markings.  Ken did this one in-flight and was part of the recent Group build.  He also provided pics of the in-flight stand he built for it. 


Andy Bannister dropped by with his brightly colored 1/72 MPM Grumman F3F-1.  Andy has provided an article full of great insight into the building of this kit.  


Dan Tickle is here with his in-flight bare metal 1/48 Monogram  F-100 Super Sabre.  Beautiful work Dan 


Darius Aibara is here with his 1/48 Hobbycraft Royal Navy Corsair IV.  Looks like the Brits have flown almost everything.  Nice to see this one.

The whole ADSL system in my area is offline.....if you see this....it means I managed to fire up my modem to upload today's update.


Tolga Ulgur  begins our Wednesday update with his 1/48 Tamiya P-51 D.  Tolga's Mustang has a bare metal finish with vasious panels lightened and darkened to give the plane a patch work appearance common to bare metal aircraft.  


Justin Davenport has dropped by the ARC Corporate offices this morning with his Two 1/72 Hasegawa F-18 Hornets.  Dan's Mon-key was quite jealous of Justin's  Hornets and attempted to flight test them......big Justin is big enough to keep Dan's Mon-key in check


Alex Bigey is here today with his 1/72 Hobbycraft DHC-3 OTTER.  It's always good to get variety on ARC and civilian aircraft add positively to the variety. 


Bud Norris has dropped by with some pics of his Three 1/48 Revell F-86Ds.  I quite enjoyed this well laid out diorama.....there is plenty of see. 


I have a review of the new 1/32 F-105 Fancy Girls Part 3 decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This one features the nudie nose art of "Pussy Galore I" was named after the character in the James Bond Goldfinger movie. Review includes nudity.

Juanjo Dominguez is here with his 1/72 Fujimi Finnish Mig-21BIS.  The level of detail and finish is something not easily achieved in 1/72.  Beautiful. 


Yuval Kizner is here with his 1/72 Revell Do-335.  This one has two fully detailed engines with wiring etc.  Simply perfect and in 1/72?!?!?....amazing!! 


Dave Ramshaw is here with his 1/48 Hasegawa F-14a.  Dave went to great lengths to get the paint job looking this weathered and patchy.  I quite like the effect. 


Jorge Bonilla Alvarado is here with the old 1/48 Monogram P-39 Airacobra.   Jorge has proven once again how nice these older Monogram kit look when they are built. 


An ARC regular has sent me more pictures of the Buried Iraqi Mig 25's being unearthed by US forces in Iraq.


Monday, Sept 8  2003     First use of V-2 rocket lands Chiswick area of London (1944)

Allan Yee fires up our Monday morning with his 1/72 Matchbox North American T-2C Buckeye.  Allan did some extra work on this one including making a new canopy.  His Feature article goes into some good detail about his brightly coloured Buckeye. 


David Erickson has built the 1/48 HiPM Arado Ar-196.  I quite enjoyed David's realistic photos with natural settings for his float plane.  Very nicely done.


Dmitriy Shapiro has an article about the 1/72 Zvezda Sukhoi S-37 Berkut.  This radical looking jet has the looks of a true 21st century fighter. 


Alan Williamson is here with his 1/48 Hobby Craft AVG P-40 Tomahawk.  The American Volunteer group is the stuff legends are made of and Alan's P-40 has all the artwork that was famous on these planes. 


Here's a couple of pics of Buried Iraqi Mig 25's being unearthed by US forces in Iraq.  This could make for quite an interesting diorama. 


I have a review of the new 1/72 resin Columbia Fin Tip Camera Pod from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This is part of the Lift Off Series of detail items.


I have a review of the big 1/72 Roden Felixstowe F.2A model kit from LuckyModel.com Hobby shop.  Another great kit from Roden.

  Brazil Independence Day   

Parker Wilson is here with the first model today.  Parker is the youngest modeller on ARC that I know of.  He is eleven.  This is his 1/72 Testors B-2 Stealth Bomber.  He deserves much credit for finishing this poor fitting kit and doing such a good job on it. 


Edward A. Fuquay is here with his 1/48 Monogram Promodeler Ju 87 R-2 Stuka.  Nice job as usual Ed. 


David Smigielski has finished the 1/48 Academy MiG-21PF in Egyptian markings.  A very attractive camo scheme. 


Darius Aibara has dropped by today with his 1/48 Tamiya F-51 Mustang.  Darius finished his Mustang in bare metal and gave various panel different shades of bare metal. 


Jörgen Toll is here with a review and some pics of the Aires Wheel wells for 1/48 Hasegawa F-14 Tomcat kit.  Looks quite nice.

  Swaziland Independence and National Day  

Shaun Bowman-Davies gets us going today with his  1/72 Revell BAe Harrier GR7.  Shaun has provided some very good photos of his great looking Harrier. 


Francisco Colaço is here with his 1/48 Eduard Thulin D that he converted from a Morane Saulnier type L.  The delicate rigging on this one is a site to behold. 


Bartosz Piotrowski has finished his 1/48 Dragon Me 262 A-1a.  This detailed 262 is sure to make the 262 Fans happy. 


H.Ufuk Aydiner is here with his 1/32 Hasegawa FW-190Aa3.  This big Fw-190 is finished in Turkish markings. 


Jean-Paul Poisseroux has sent in a  detailed review of the 1/48 Fonderie Miniature S.N.C.A.S.O Vautour IIB.  This is a multi-media kit that looks like it has plenty of goodies to keep a serious modeller busy.


Friday, Sept 5  2003         

Moses is here with his aircraft carrier model .  This is his 1/450 Hasegawa IJN Akagi from WW2.  Moses has gotten quite the nice level of detail on his carrier....great pictures. 


Jan M Visser is here with his 1/32 Tamiya F-14 Tomcat.  Jan finished off his big Tomcat in an attractive Adversary paint scheme.  Love that paint scheme.


Tolga Ulgur has dropped by with his 1/48 Tamiya Mustang III.  This Mustang is in the markings a Polish Squadron with the RAF during WW2.  Lots of kill markings on this one.  Very nicely done weathering and finishing. 


Rodney Williams is here with his 1/48 Monogram F-18A Blue Angel.  Rodney gave this one a high gloss finish, which is a special talent that Rodney has mastered.  Always good to see a Blue Angel.


Devin has sent in a photo to be added to the recent Cutting Edge Modelworks review on the  resin Space Shuttle exhaust nozzles.

Ed Grantham and Joe Dempsey have posted the  rules and particulars for the Lucky Model Aggressor/Adversary Group Build to Ed Grantham's website.  Go to Ed's website to get all the details.  Well done Ed and Joe!!  


Creighton L Henthorn Jr starts today's update with his 1/48 Hasegawa A-4F Skyhawk.  This special Shyhawk is finished in "Lady Jessie" markings.  There is a very special story behind the "Lady Jessie" markings.  


Alex Bigey has the 1/72 Sword Vought V173 & Hasegawa XF5U-1 Flying Pancakes.  Amazing these aircraft ever flew......Alex has included some history in his article about these odd looking aircraft.


Gianni Chirico is here with his 1/72 Italeri LTV A-7E Corsair II.  Gianni finished his A-7 is the markings of  VA-86 "Sidewinders" off the USS Nimitz.  Quite nice panel line shading on this A-7. 


Radim Schimmer has built the 1/72 Tamyia Kyushu J7W1 Shinden.  Radim's article tell the history and construction details of this "pusher" aircraft.


I have a review of the 1/144 Space Shuttle Tile Pattern Decals from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  All I can say here is WOW!!

Alan Williamson joins us from Australia with his recently completed 1/48 Hasegawa Nakajima B6N2 Carrier Attack Bomber Tenzan (Jill).  Alan gave his Jill a chipped paint weathered look.


Peter Doll joins us from Germany with his 1/48 Monogram Convair B-58A Hustler.  Peter achieved the bare metal finish using kitchen aluminum foil.....very well done.  


Kevin Hayes joins us with his 1/48 Accurate Miniatures P-51B 'Topper III'.  Topper III is an aircraft flown by the African American ‘Tuskegee Airmen‘....they had the special distinction of being the only American pilots to never have lost a single bomber under their protection.


I have a review of the 1/144 Space Shuttle rocket engine nozzles from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  An excellent item to increase the detail on your next Space Shuttle project.


I have a review of the 1/72 Roden Albatros W.4 model kit sent to me by LuckyModel.com Hobby shop.  These Roden kits are quite nice....this float plane one is quite interesting.

Bill Bulek starts today with his 1/32 Academy F-18.  Bill is one very lucky guy.....his girlfriend bought him this kit....I've met her....he is one VERY lucky guy.....but back to his model.  He finished it as a CF-18A using Leading Edge Models decals.


Albert Moore has today's second model....and I was a bit surprised to see a model from Albert not in IAF markings.  Albert as you may recall has some stunning IAF aircraft in the ARC gallery section.  This is his 1/48 Hasegawa AH-64D in US markings.


George R. Mustafa is here with todays 3rd model.  This is George's 1/48 Italeri Messershmitt Me 262 A-1A, White Eight Diorama “There I was” .  I know my Me 262's and this diorama is a treat to see.
