models of the hurricane, 1 in it's original RAF colours and one in
it's captured Japanese markings. Decals are custom made and it
is quite the eye catching display to mark this sad anniversary for
Singapore.

I plan to begin
moving the ARC website in the coming days from the old hosting
company to the new hosting company. This will require moving
the domain names and this will cause problems as some ARC'ers
computer will be lost trying to find the domain name....these
problems usually settle down naturally in a matter of days. This
is the ARC website and NOT the ARC forums. The ARC forums will
NOT be affected by this move.

Shows this weekend
include:
|
|
|
Li Yen Lin
is here with his first model on ARC and it is a very special
B-17 model. This is the 1/48 Monogram Visible B-17G Flying Fortress
with Eduard photo etch and plenty of scratch built and improved
kit details to show off all that wonderful interior detail that is
fully visible on the left side of the fuselage. The detailing
and weathering is fantastic on this B-17 model, sit back and enjoy
the photos.

|
|
Björn Leichsenring
is here with something very different. This is his 1/144 Dragon CAIC Z-10 "Pie Li
Huo", which is the new Chinese anti-tank attack
helicopter. Björn modified his model to make it more accurate
and even scratchbuilt a cockpit and opened the cockpit
windows. This is a very cool little chopper model, hard to
believe this model is 1/144, because the detail looks very good.

Ulysses
Almeida is here with the rarest F-86. This is the 1/48
Italeri TF-86F Sabre Transonic Trainer created by Ulysses
from a single seat model. Ulysses tells the history of the two
F-86 trainers that were built and also explains the process to
completing this conversion. I'm very excited to have this
Sabre trainer on ARC.
|
|
|
|
|
Shawn “phantom” Weiler
is here with some very different. This is his 1/350 Polar lights NX-01 USS Enterprise.
Shawn used a special decal sheet to get the complicated Aztec
pattern that shows the different panels. Beautifully done
Shawn.
|
|
|
|
|
Phillip Steele
is here with a very special 1/72 Airfix Bristol Blenheim Mk.1.
Phillip used the rare Romanian markings to finish up his very
sharp looking Blenheim. I like the look of this one, very cool
indeed.

Eric speedlimit Salazar
starts today with his very attractive 1/48 Hasegawa F-4EJ JASDF 50th Anniversary.
Eric dropped the flaps and then gave his Phantom a first class paint
job. Beautiful work Eric. You can see all of Eric's
articles on ARC by clicking the link at the bottom of his article. |
|
|
|
|
Lorenzo Cassinadri
has been inspired by David Rapasi to create this beautifully
weathered 1/48 Accurate Miniatures P-51A Mustang.
Lorenzo
added scratchbuilt details to the cockpit, radio compartment and
landing gear before giving his Mustang a stunning weathering
job. Marvelous work Lorenzo. |
|
|
|
|
Thomas Brückelt
has been very busy creating his 2 seater 1/72 Aeroplast Saab SK-35C Draken.
Thomas started with a single seater and made his 2 seater and
then further detailed the cockpit and exterior of his model before
giving it a very realistic looking multi-shaded bare metal paint
job. His finished model captures all the beauty of the real
jet. |
