Wolfram Witschel gets things started in a very impressive way with his very colorful 1/72 Italeri/Revell Basler Turbo BT-67.  This beauty was built with a reason conversion set that you can purchase by going to the link in the article.  No doubt about it....this is one cool conversion set.

Fred Shammas honors us with photos of his 1/48 Dassault Super Entendard diorama.   Fred finished his jet in markings for the Argentine Navy at a base created by Fred.  Realism was Fred strong point.

Mark L. Rossmann is here with his superb Korean war 1/48 Airfix Fr.47 Seafire.  Mark tells the history of the Seafire and it's role in the Koraen war and how he built this beauty.  Flawless work Mark, it's always a treat to see your latest model here on ARC.

Stephan Mühlberger has done  a stunning job super detailing his 1/32 Tamiya F-4B Phantom II.  Stephan used a few aftermarket sets and combined all those with his masterful scratchbuilding to create one very amazing Phantom  II in colorful markings from the heyday of this much loved jet.

Jens Gerber has done an exceptionally fine job on his 1/48 Tamiya Fw 190 A8/R2.  Jens added some of his special details to bting his FW 190 toi life and then finished his fighter in one of those amazing Luftwaffe camo schemes from later in WW2.

Fred Shammas honors us today with photos of his 1/48 Su-25 diorama.  This is an Iranian jet on the tarmac at a base somewhere in Iran parked next to an Iranian F-5.

Turkey Republic Day

Private Note to "A" & "S".....everything is going well and as planned....saw Doctor yesterday....having some problems finding an internet connection.

Gianni "Kurnass77" Coniglio starts today with his exceptionally detailed 1/72 Hasegawa F-4B Phantom II that was built for a recent Group Build on the ARC Forums..  Gianni used a long list of aftermarket goodies and then further detailed his F-4 with scratchbuilt details and finished it all off with skillfull painting and weathering.  Enjoy the photos....it doesn't get much better than this.

Fred Shammas is featured today with his 1/48 Huey Diorama.  Fred finished this oine as an an Iranian Army chopper in the IRIAA (Islamic Republic of Iran Army Air Corps) at a base somewhere in Iran and if you look carefully you will also see his Iranian Cobra in some of the pics.

Carmel J. Attard is here with  2 very special models today.  These are his 1/72 Replica Hispano HA-200 and HA-220 in Spanish Air Force markings.  Carmel actually cast one of these models in metal himself so he could have 2 different versions of this Spanish built advanced trainer aircraft.  I was quite impressed by the effort Carmel put into both of these models which shows when you see the photos of both of these fantastic looking models.

Zambia Independence Day

Fred Shammas is featured today with photos of his 1/48 F-5E Golden Crown Diorama.  The Golden Crown was the national aerobatics display team of Iran and 13 Photos of Fred's diorama are including for your enjoyment today.

Polly Singh has done a first class job on his 1/72 Revell Hawker Hurricane IIB diorama.  This is an Indian Air Force bird in Burma during 1944 complete with all the accessories to complete the scene.  Very nicely done Polly.

Kees Kuyper is here with photographic proof of  NESA on Mars.  NESA is of course the NEtherlands Space Agency.  It is always enjoyable to see the latest What-if work from Kees.

Fred Shammas is featured today with 3 photos of his 1/48 A-20 Havoc diorama.  Fred built a wide variety of models but they all looked like the real thing in his photos. 

William Smith has dome an exceptionally fine job building and weathering his 1/48 Hasegawa F-15 Aggressor.  William chose the markings for an Aggressor bird using markings from Afterburner decals.  His finished Eagle looks very attractive indeed......beautiful work William.

Kevin Payne has been very busy adding a full scratchbuilt interior including boarding steps to his 1/72 Rareplane vacform Gates Learjet C-21A.  Kevin added very subtle weathering to bring his USAF Learjet to life.

Fred Shammas is featured today with photos of his big and impressive 1/32 Tamiya F-14 diorama wearing the Tan/Brown/Green camo scheme of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF).  

Jens Gerber joins us from Germany with his beautifully done 1/48 Revell/Dragon Fw 190 F8 wearing late war colours.  Jens added further details to the cockpit and gun barrels etc and finished it all off with a flawless Luftwaffe camo scheme.  Jens offers some helpful painting info regarding late war FW-190's.  I love the job you did on this one Jens.

Burt Gustafson has done a marvelous job finishing his baremetal 1/48 Airfix English Electric Lightning F.2A.  Burt tells the his of this unique fighter as well as what was involved in building this Airfix kit.  As usual Burt finished it to a very high standard.  Beautiful work Burt.

Fred Shammas photo of his 1/48 Academy T-33 diorama are here to start things off.  Fred sure did have a talent for photography and scale modeling.

Gordon I joins us in style with his first article on ARC.  This is Gordon's 1/48 Airfix CH149 Cormorant using the Belcher Bits conversion set. Gordon captured the look of the Canadian Cormorant flawlessly and I am very pleased to see his first article on ARC.  I look forward to seeing more of Gordon's work on ARC in the future.  Welcome to ARC Gordon!!!

C.K.Hsu is here with a most attractive 1/48 Tamiya F-16C Fulcrum.  This is an Aggressor Squadron F-16C using Afterburner decals and a resin exhaust nozzle and given a full weathering job to bring this model to life.  I love the look of this tan/brown camo scheme.

Fred Shammas gets things started in style with his 1/48 Tornado IDS diorama.  This is a Gulf War Tornado complete with sexy nose art. 

Fred Shammas is also here today with his very realistic looking 1/48 Northrop RF-5A diorama.  Fred got everything looking perfect and finished it all off in one of his amazingly lifelike settings.

Fred Shammas starts today with 1 photo of his 1/48 F-106 diorama.  This does look like a vintage scene from the 1060's.

Hal Marshman Sr. has put plenty of his skillful scratchbuilt detailing into his 1/48 Hasegawa Bf-109G-2.  This is a Eastern Front fighter from the Battle for Stalingrad time period.  Hals' work is always impeccable in every way and I love seeing his work on ARC.

Carmel J Attard did an impressive job modifying the 1/72 Matchbox H.S.Buccaneer S2 into a particular Bucc.  It is always fascinating to read Carmel's articles and see the many improvements he does on each build to get the very historically accurate models he is world famous for.

Jens Gerber dropped by the ARC Corporate office in Germany with his 1/48 Eduard Weekend Fw 190D-9.  Jens upgraded details on his 190 with scratchbuilt items and gave it  a flawless camo paint job.  Beautiful work as always Jens. 

Dragan Cvetic has a very special model for you to enjoy today.  This is his 1/72 Revell Hawker Hunter MK.59 in a great looking camo and paint scheme thanks to Linden Hill Iraqi fighters decal sheet.  Dragan also dressed up the cockpit with some scratchbuilt details.

Sorry this update is late....I got sidetracked on Wednesday at the dentist getting 2 root canals.  All went well......he's a good dentist.

Fred Shammas starts today with some photos of his 1/48 F-7 diorama. Fred finished his F-7 in Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force markings and an attractive blue camo.

Damian Murphy has done an exceptionally fine job on his 1/32 Tamiya F4U1 Corsair.  Damian was very impressed with the fit and detail level of this Tamiya kit and I must say I'm very impressed with the job Damian did on the painting and weathering on his Corsair.  Take a good look at his photos....amazing work.

Paul Coppin made me grin with his beautifully done 1/48 Revell F-16A.  This is a special Tiger Meet Viper with the Belgium Air Force and Paul captured the look of it perfectly.  I love Tiger Meet jets and this one looks fantastic.

Fred Shammas starts today with photos of his 1/48 Jaguar GR-1.  If you're a Desert Storm fan, then you're going to love seeing photos of Fred's Jaguar in a diorama.

Ramon R. Lomeli is here with a special treat today.  This is his 1/35 MRC/Academy OH-58D Kiowa Warrior that is built and detailed to represent the bird flown by his friend in the late 1990's.  Ramon has some helpful info about building this kit and explains the extra added detailing he did to bring this beauty to life. 

Adrian 'DREN' Garza has done a stunning job on his 1/48 Hasegawa F-4J Phantom II.  Adrian added aftermarket goodies from 3 different companies and scratchbuilt details and finished it all off with VF-84 Jolly Rogers markings.  A Jolly Rogers Phantom...SWEET!!!

Gavin Parnaby has used numerous aftermarket detail sets along with plenty of scratchbuilding to extensively improve his 1/72 KP Mil Mi-17 ‘Hip’.  He details the whole build in excellent easy to follow detail in his article.  He finished his chopper in Ugandan markings.  I'm very impressed by the effort Gavin put into this tiny 1/72 Mil Mi-17 ‘Hip’.

Lucio P. joins us from Italy with one of the coolest 1/48 Hasegawa A-7E Corsair II I have seen.  This was a special scheme from Desert Storm that looks great by itself, but Lucio took his A-7 to a whole new level with many high detail resin sets that added detail to all the important areas of this classic jet.  Sit back and enjoy his photos and read exactly what he did to create this gem.

Fred Shammas starts today's update with his 1/48 F-16 Diorama.  This is a what-if F-16 in Iranian markings.  I do like the look of the camo scheme on the F-16.

Carlos Escobar is here with something very rare and special today.  This is his beautifully finished 1/72 MPM Fokker G-1 in Dutch markings and a flawless amount of paint fading for total realism.  I love the look of this very rare aircraft.

Jens Gerber has done as absolutely amazing job on the very high quality 1/48 Tamiya Me 262 A1a.  Jens is a Master craftsman when it comes to weathering and he even masked and painted some of the markings on his jet.  Sit back and enjoy his photos.

The memorial tribute to Fred Shammas continues with photos of his 1/48 MiG-29 Diorama.  There's actually two of Fred's MiG-29's in this article (a single seater and a two seater) and each of them is sporting the markings for the The Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF).

Hal Marshman Sr. has done plenty of his exceptional scratchbuilding to add details to most areas of his 1/48 Hasegawa Bf-109G-14. Hal is a master with the airbrush and you will see that when you enjoy the photos of his late war 109.

Polly Singh has done a stunning job on his desert camo 1/72 Novo F-5A.  Polly finished his F-5 in the markings and camo for the Royal Saudi Air Force which is quite an attractive camo scheme for the Freedom Fighter..

Uganda Independence Day

The memorial tribute to Fred Shammas continues with photos of his 1/48 Cobra Diorama.  These photos look more realistic that the real machines and as you'll see in the photos Fred adds all the tiny details that brings models to life.. Simply amazing work.

Mark L. Rossmann joins us with his  beautifully done 1/48 Hasegawa RF-86F Sabre.  This is the special recon version of the Sabre and Mark explains the full history of the Sabre and Japanese Sabres as well as what is required to build the Japanese Recon version.  As an added bonus he has included photos of his other Japanese Sabre.  Mark's models are always a big treat to see on ARC.

Mohammad Adl joins us from Iran with his amazingly well detailed 1/72 Zvezda Sukhoi Su-33 Flanker-D 7207.  Mohammad is a skilled modeller as toy will see in his 32 photos.  This Flanker is loaded with detail and the camo scheme looks fantastic.

Croatia Independence Day

India - Indian Air Force Day

Leonard Prakasam is here to honor the Indian Air Force Day with his 1/72 Trumpeter Su-30 K.  Leonard added quite a bit of photo etch to his Su-30 to make it an award winning model.  I love the way Leonard finished his Su-30 in the Indian Flag color scheme as was seen during a flypast.

Graham Symmonds has done a remarkable job detailing and finishing his 1/32 Wingnut Wings LVG C.VI.  His rigging job is flawless and the camo scheme he chose looks exceptional.  I quite enjoyed seeing photos of his LVG C.VI and I love the snow covered groundwork.  

The memorial tribute to Fred Shammas continues with photos of his 1/48 F-5 Saeqheh diorama.  This is the Iranian twin tailed F-5 and Fred chose to finish his in the colors of the Iranian Air Force.

The memorial tribute to Fred Shammas continues with photos of his 1/48 F-86 Diorama.  Fred's photos of his F-86 Sabre look particularly realistic....simply amazing and quite inspirational.

naioh2 joins us with a beautifully built 1/48 Roden T-28D Trojan.  This is a Royal Thai Air force T-28D complete with a weapons load and just the right amount of weathering.  I love the look of this T-28D.

Bruno Tavares joins us from from Portugal with his first model on ARC.  This is Bruno's 1/48 Academy F-4B Phantom II Sundowners finished to a very high standard with a full weapons load complete with drop tanks.  Bruno chose the markings for the Sundowners which is always a very attractive choice of markings.  I love it Bruno....welcome to the ARC homepage and I look forward to seeing your next model on ARC.  I really enjoyed see your Phantom and reading about the extra work you did on it.

Lesotho National Day

Fred Shammas showed he was a skilled photographer and his 1/48 Classic Airframes F-5B proved he was a skilled modeler.  He finished his F-5B in the markings and camo of the in the markings of the The Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF).  I love Fred's work. 

Carlos Escobar has done quite a bit of extra work detailing his 1/35 Dragon MD500D Police Series.  This is an LAPD chopper with Eduard photo etch in the cockpit and all the fine details you would see on the full sized chopper.  Very nicely done Carlos....it looks perfect.

Serge Dompierre has done an exceptionally fine job building and finishing his 1/48 Kopro Sukhoi SU-17 M3.  Serge built this one out of the box and finished his Su-17 in the markings for a Soviet Union Air Force in Afghanistan in 1984.  Beautiful model and great photos Serge.

There appears to be problems with certain IP addesses on the forums.....I'm looking into a fix for this issue.

Fred Shammas is featured on the Iraqi National Day with his 1/48 Mirage F-1 that is finished in Iraqi markings.  This is one of the Iraqi jets that ended up in Iran.  I will never get over the realism Fred brought to his photo. 

Jens Gerber joins us from Germany on his National Day with his 1/48 Monogram OS2U Kingfisher.  Jens built this classic kit OOB of the box to his usual very high standard.  I love the look of this Kingfisher Jens.

Ethan Chuck is here with a diorama from one of my favourite TV shows from the 1960's.  This is his 1/350 Aoshima Thunderbird 2 with Launch Bay and you will be impressed to see all the pods with all the different vehicles.  Wow this brings back some long faded memories.

Guinea Independence Day

Fred Shammas is here again today in his memorial tribute.  This is his 1/48 Hasegawa RF-4E diorama.  There are 55 photos of Fred's work in this article and each photo is a work of art.

Hal Marshman Sr. has added an amazing amount of scratchbuilt detail to his 1/48 Hasegawa Bf-109G-6.  Hal has a special eye for building Luftwaffe fighters from WW2 and this latest 109 is a beauty that is finished to a very high standard of quality. 

Polly Singh has done a fabulous job finishing and weathering his 1/72 Bilek MiG 21 SMT.  Polly chose the attractive markings for a Soviet aircraft in Afghanistan...complete with a  tarmac diorama base.  It's a very realistic scene indeed.
