This latest release
from Lifelike
Decals
features four different Albatros D.III/V's. This is Part
1 of a series dealing
with the Albatros D.III/V in late 1917 to early 1918.
The
4 aircraft include a very
pleasing variety of paint schemes and markings.

V flown by Lt. d. Wolf, Jasta 5, Boistrancourt, in late 1917. Paint
scheme is blue and white checkers with Lion and shield artwork on the side
of the fuselage.

Albatros D
V flown by Lt. d R. Ernst Udet, Jasta 37, Wynghene, in autumn 1917.
Paint scheme overall white with black engine cowling.

Albatros D
V 4408/17flown by Vfw.Georg Strasser, Jasta 17, Retheuil Ferme, around
December 1917. Paint scheme is overall yellow and white with a big red
heart on the side of the fuselage.

Albatros D
Va flown by Wilhelm Gurke, Jasta 5, Boistrancourt, in early March
1918. Paint scheme is brown and green with a big white 5 pointed star
on the side of the fuselage.

The quality of these decals is of
very good quality. The decals themselves are clearly printed on 2 decal
sheets and are in
perfect register. Some decals come in 2 or 3 layers to ensure perfect
registration and no colour bleed through.
WW1 was full of many
great and innovative aircraft and the Germans had some very colourful aircraft
and markings on their fighters. I love the variety on this decal sheet.
