This new decal sheet from Linden Hill Decals is the third part in their series dedicated to the MiG-21 and it's many variants.  'Brother in Arms 3' covers a number of 'third generation' MiG-21 variants, including the MiG-21R, S, M, MF, MF75,  and MF-R.

This decal sheet features 12 different MiG-23 from 5 different countries including the Soviet Union, East Germany, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.  You get a wonderful variety of paint schemes from bare metal to very colourful camo.  These decals are designed to fit Eduard's MF kit.

A number of the 21s featured on the sheet have very interesting back-stories. The East German MiG-21M featured (532) was one of a dozen NVA M variants secretly air-freighted to Syria in October 1973 as 'military assistance' during the Yom Kippur War. USSR 'Red 01' was the commander's aircraft of the 159th 'Novorossiiskiy' GvIAP, based at Kluczewo, Poland, which took part in 'Operation Danube' (occupation of Czechoslovakia) in August 1968.

Linden Hill Decals offers LHD 48027 in both a regular edition ($20.99) and a special XL edition ($30.99), including a full set of Russian stenciling printed by our Russian partners Begemot.
