This new decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks includes markings for two different 1/48 A-20's.

The first aircraft is a A-20B-DL with the 16th Obs. Squadron.  This is plane # 41-3127 flown by Lt. J.R. Delapp.  The paint scheme is olive drab on top and neutral gray on the underside.  The artwork on the forward fuselage is a beautiful naked blonde with a carrying a bomb on her left side.  Under the artwork is the script "Dinah Mite".  The artwork for this aircraft has a white decal to go underneath the noseart decal.  On the side of the tail are the yellow serial #'s "13127".  There is also a large white 17 on the tail, but this could be yellow....both white and yellow decals are included.

The second aircraft is a A-20H-5-DO with the 312BG/ 388 BS.  This is plane # 44-062.  The paint scheme is olive drab on top and neutral gray on the underside and a wavey demarcation line between the olive drab and neutral gray.

There is also  some medium green areas along the topside leading and trailing edges on the main wing and the forward edge on the tail.

The artwork on the forward fuselage is a beautiful blonde on see through lounging clothes on big red heart with a white outline.  on each side of the blonde artwork is the script "Miss BeHaven".  The artwork for this aircraft is a separate decal from the red heart.  On the side of the tail are the yellow serial #'s "4062".  There is also a large white Y on the tail.

The noseart decals are delicate and two are included for each plane in case you mess up the first ones.  Exacting instructions are included on how to prepare and install these decals…..read these instructions carefully to avoid disaster.  Apparently these noseart decals are very thin and need special care, but once installed they will look very accurate and realistic.  The nose art decals are printed on a one piece decal sheet, so you’ll need to cut the decal free from the rest of the decal film…..patience is the key here.  The noseart decal is beautifully printed with fantastic detail and lovely shading.

The instructions are clear and include 2 views of each aircraft and an extra page of text instructions  with a small bit of info about one of the planes as well as helpful tips for decal application.

A very nice decal sheet and  sure to please the lucky 300 people that manage to buy one of these limited edition sheets.
