This new decal
sheet from Cutting Edge
Modelworks includes markings for two different 1/48 A-20's.
The first aircraft is a A-20B-DL
with the 16th Obs. Squadron. This is plane # 41-3127 flown by Lt. J.R.
Delapp. The paint scheme is
olive drab on top and neutral gray on the underside. The artwork on the
forward fuselage is a
beautiful naked blonde with a carrying a bomb on her left side. Under
the artwork is the script "Dinah Mite". The
artwork for this aircraft has a white decal to go underneath the noseart decal.
On
the side of
the tail are the yellow serial #'s "13127". There is also a
large white 17 on the tail, but this could be yellow....both white and yellow
decals are included.
The
second aircraft is a A-20H-5-DO
with the 312BG/ 388 BS. This is plane # 44-062. The paint scheme is
olive drab on top and neutral gray on the underside and a wavey demarcation line
between the olive drab and neutral gray.
There
is also some medium green areas along the topside leading and
trailing edges on the main wing and the forward edge on the tail.
