This decal sheet comes in 1/72 scale. The decal sheet includes stencils as well as marking for 5 different Mig-29's . This decal sheet covers the MiG 29 Fulcrum A of 5 different airforces including Polish, Russian, German, Iraqi (Desert Storm), and East German (last flight in GDR service). The painting options include everything from a 2 tone grey upper surface to a 5 colour specially painted plane to mark the last flight in GDR service and is painted Dark Grey, Dark Brown, Dark Green, Mid Green, with some flat yellow and everything in-between...in other words....lots of paint scheme options. The quality of the sheet is good....excellent colours.....clear printing and completely in register. I recommend this sheet to anyone looking for interesting options to the kit decals.
Decal option #1 is a MiG 29 from the Soviet Air Force Guards Regiment in 1990. This particular plane is painted Medium Grey FS 26375 and Light Grey FS 26495 on the top side and Light Grey FS 26495 on the underside with a Dark Grey FS 26118 nose cone.
Decal option #2 is a MiG 29 from the Iraqi Air Force from Habbanyah Air Base in 1990-91. This particular plane is painted Medium Grey FS 26375 and Light Grey FS 26495 on the top side and Light Grey FS 26495 on the underside with a Dark Grey FS 26118 nose cone.
Decal option #3 is a MiG 29 from the Polish Air Force 1st Fighter Regiment "Warszawa" from Minsk Mazowiecki Air Base. This particular plane is painted Medium Grey FS 26375 and Light Grey FS 26495 on the top side and Light Grey FS 26495 on the underside with a Dark Grey FS 26118 nose cone.
Decal option #4 is a MiG 29 from the East German Air Force JG3 "Wladimir Komarow" from Preschen Air Base on September 27 1990. This particular plane is the specially painted plane to mark the last flight in GDR service and is painted Dark Grey FS 26118, Dark Brown, Dark Green, Mid Green, with some flat yellow on the top side and Pale Grey FS 36495 on the underside with a Dark Grey FS 26118 nose cone.
Decal option #5 is a MiG 29 from the German Air Force / Bundesluftwaffefrom Preschen Air Base. This particular plane is painted Dark Brown, Dark Green, Mid Green and Tan on the top side and Pale Grey FS 36495 on the underside with a Dark Grey FS 26118 nose cone.
