Hello! Greetings from
Colombia! The Eurofighter Typhoon forms a part of the cooperation between
European countries to make a pure fighter European, initially it was
known as EAP and now it is known as the Typhoon; this model represents
one of
the Spanish planes of the army of the air.
The model is from Revell, it's
armed out of the box, the original decals were used and the
configuration of the armament was changed a bit. The cockpit is very easy to assemble and the detail
is very good.
This kit did not contain
pilot figures, so I used pilots from another kit. To dress up the
figures I painted the
Spanish flag and details of the flag of Barcelona on the figures, one of
the crew members has a moustache, very cool!

For a 1/72 scale model,
this kit has a very good level of detail and the decals are colourful and
stick well to the surface of the painted model.
As a final detail, I did a runway
diorama base from which it applied snow that was beside the runway; the base is done in wood and the snow was done with a mixture of
bicarbonate and pegante for wood, to which I applied transparent brilliant lacquer
in order to give the snow it's own sheen.
One of the crewmembers is
directing the aircraft and in order to give this figure a higher level of
realiam I painted to it the Spanish flag and the Squadron patch on the chest
of the uniform.
I wholeheartedly recommend this model,
it is enjoyable to build.
