History:

I think, I do not need to go into the history much, only that this aircraft went into service with the Russian Air Force.  At the end of the war enough machines of the German Air Force stood everywhere around.  One could have supplied all museums of the world with aircraft, but only a few landed in museums.

In the test center N II VVS the Me-410 was tested in detail.  Numerous Me-410 were placed into the hands of Soviet troops.  This aircraft represented an interesting and technological object.  Differently than in the German test center Rechlin, where all booty fliers were umlackiert, kept the Me-410 with the Russian test center in its original paint with only the bar crosses, identification and swastika with greener color was painted over.

The model:

The model is an import from Revell USA.  The Model was built out of the box like the others on my homepage.

I procured those for myself from Schatton model construction, in brass manufactured BK 5 mounted gun, which was built in the Russian booty Me-410. The Me-410 kept its painting of original only identification, bar cross and swastika with greener color was re-painted over.
