Another
favourite model of mine is this Hasegawa F - 104G "Olympus" in
Greek colours, depicting an anniversary aircraft commemorating the
squadron's disbanding. No aftermarket resin or photoetched parts were used
during the construction. No panels were opened (i.e. radar cone, gun and
electronics compartment) because I wanted to keep the lines - and the
paint pattern - of the aircraft completely clean.

The
only improvement concerns the cockpit area, since I had the paintwork and
the application of the decals to care of.
No wash or drybrushing was
applied; the model depicts the actual aircraft as it is today at the Tatoi
Aircraft Museum, Athens, Greece. The model was painted exclusively with
Humbrol enamel paints.

The
fit of the Hasegawa kit was perfect and - once again - no filler was used at
all!?
