  Canada Day 2012

Happy Canada day!! Here's a whole bunch of colourful hornets for you. One things for sure, there will be more. Our governments not too big on replacing our military gear so we should be using these early A models for some time yet.

On to the models, first, one of the most colourful your going to get. A 1/48 Hasegawa CF-188720 410 sq. Tiger meet of the Americas tiger. Flight Dec decals.

Next, the seldom modeled, 441 sq Checker bird 188724 decals designed by a certain model photographer named Elmo.  Hardest, most mind numbing paint job known to man, on a Revell 1/48 Hornet C, modified to a  CF-18A  Accompanying hat from a 410/441 squadron lover named Tilt.

On to 1/72, mostly Hasegawas, almost all the decals from a great Canadian company who really should start sending me free samples after this review called Leading Edge. Great decals, I have even more of their decal sheets on models on the shelves at home.

Good Luck in finding this sheet.

188907 AETE Operational scheme. I love this one and I'm going to redo this in 1/48th.
188751 425 Sqn less than inspired scheme.
188716 433 Sqn Combat Porcupine
This is the Latest Leading Edge Canadian Hornet scheme. 188712 with a full combat load from 416 Sqn.

Well this is it, I hope you liked them. Thanks yet as always to Emil for the Photography and Ed at Air Support Hobbies for supplying the photo Facilities. My next project will be a foreign scheme the very inspiring Australian 20th Anniversary Hornet scheme from Leading Edge Models.
