After I made my F-19s from Revell ( http://www.arcair.com/Gal16/15601-15700/gal15623-F-19-Bruckelt/00.shtm ) I had the idea to make a F-19 - I called "E"-version" - with forward swept wings and canards.
Therefore I used the nice kit from Italeri in 1/72.

First I made a drawing of the top view to find a cool looking geometry. The wings and canards were made from polysterene.

I gave Japanese markings to it which look good on the camouflage I painted on with enamels from Humbrol and Revell (brush).

I took some markings from Italeris decal sheet, the JASDF markings were left from a F-104G (from Academy). The small ones on the intakes were cut off from RAF roundels.

The basic kit is simple and the modifications were also done quickly, so this model was built within a week. It was fun to make this idea visible.
