Hello folks, this is my 3rd build of this plane in 1/48. I really like the lines of the Thud and its service history, being one of the greatest combat planes to face adversity. I also have other two built in 1/72.

This is the classic Monogram kit which for many keeps going as the best kit for its shape and ease of build. I will give the Hobby Boss a chance in the future just to try and see how it comes out.  In this build I added a True Details seat and the Cobra resin set for the 3000lbs M118 (it is a shame no one else does them). I also removed the antennas on the tip of the wings and on the nose to depict a D model.

I painted the plane in the called "reverse camo" during operation Rolling Thunder, you can see it here along with another D and a G Thunderchiefs (http://www.arcair.com/Gal8/7101-7200/gal7200-F-105-Herrera/00.shtm / http://www.arcair.com/Gal14/13101-13200/gal13113-F-105-Herrera/00.shtm) here are the links for the other 2 planes.

Cheers,

Pablo Angel Herrera
