The model was built out of the box. Thanks to Tamiya's outstanding design I found the experience to be a modeler's delight.

The tight fit of parts reduced the necessity to eliminate seam lines. Yet, extra attention is required in the attachment of lower fuselage unit.

There were two problem areas, the fit of wing halves to wing roots and fit of engine cowls. The first fit problem was a matter of not following the instructions.  Extended wing spars have attachment pins but are not to be glued to allow movement of wing parts for a perfect fit. The second problem was closing the cowls properly. Perhaps, my deviation from the suggested build sequence to ease painting is the cause.

In all, if you follow the instructions closely you may end up with a remarkable model that was a pleasure to build.
