Coulson - Next Generation Air Tanker

After Pascal Dumat and I prepared a virtual C-130 for Ilan Papinis great Fire Flight Simulator (http://www.hangsim.com/fire-flight/), I also wanted to have a model of a C-130 in my collection. After I found the decal sheet for Coulsons beautiful "131" from V1 Decals ( www.v1decals.com ), it was clear to me which painting I´ll give to my model.

I made my "Herc" from Hasegawa's great kit in 1:200 which is very lovely detailed. The parts fit perfectly.

The model is painted with brush. The decals are printed in a high quality. But they need to be handled carefully, to avoid damage. So I can recommend those decals to modelers with some experience.
The dropping "liquid" I made out of red coloured Depron (foam) and covered it with wood glue to make the surface harder. The lower part of the display is out of wood.

The model is sealed with clear, varnish which is absolutely necessary to protect the decals.
