This is the 1/48 Italeri F-16C Barak. I really hate to give kits bad reviews but this one was pretty bad. Many of the parts did not line up, there were several gaps, many seams were incredibly difficult to smooth out and there were ejector pin marks all over the kit. But, as you can see, with a lot of patience this can be turned into a decent model.

I don't know for sure but I'm under the impression that this is a re boxing of the Kinetic kit.

I added an Aires resin cockpit, a Shull24 burner can, Voyager pitot tube, Royal Resin weighted wheels and a GBU-10 & GBU-31 from the Hasegawa weapon set. The LANTIRN pod was also from the Hasegawa weapons set. I built the static wicks from fishing line.

I mainly used Mr. Color paints with a little Alclad II for the metal areas. Although I did use Citadel paints for the cockpit. I used oil paints for all of the weathering. The decals came with the kit.

After its all said and done I think I will just stick with Tamiya for any future F-16 builds.
