Cyber-Hobby's F6F-5N Hellcat is a very enjoyable build, which goes together quickly. It's a beautiful kit, and I decided to make the plane of Lt. William E. "Bill" Henri of the VF(N) 41 of USS Independence in 1944. Lt. Henri was the top Ace of Night Fighters with 6 1/2 victories.

Yes, I'm crazy.  A few months ago I re-started with my hobby, and in April I finished another Hellcat, but in 1/48th.  The Hellcat and the others planes of the Navy in WW2 are my favorites.  As I said previously, the kit is a beauty, recessed detail, and the only kit which has the folded-wing option.

I only used an Eduard Zoom set for the cockpit and added copper wires for the engine and brake lines. I finished the model with Model Masters paints, Future and a brown wash for Ronin acrylics paintings.
