Hello ARC!  This is my ProModeler FW-190G3.  I started this kit in 1999 and finished in in 2012.  I built it OOB except for the decals, which came from Aeromaster.

I used Model Master Acryl paints and shot the camouflage through my Badger 150 airbrush. The base is some unknown wooden board/plaque thing that my wife found in a thrift store.  I applied a rough layer of spackling paste to it, painted it some earthy brown color from my son's art box, then applied Woodland Scenics grass powders and bushes.  The wooden boards are balsa wood planks cut to shape, then brushed liberally with water colors to make then look a bit weather-beaten.

This was a tricky kit to fit together, with lots of little parts and details, but it was fun and satisfying to finish.  It's a shame it is out of production, because it looks like someone that is FW-190 savvy can make several versions of this warbird, based on the extra parts included in the kit but omitted in the instructions.  Anyways, I enjoyed it and would gladly recommend this kit to others!

CHEERS!
