This is my attempt at the Airfix 1/72 scale Vickers Valiant bomber. The kit itself is quite easy to construct for such a large kit if you are building it straight from the box, but I corrected some of the kits mistakes, which included using the Alleycat resin intakes, changing the shape of the wing tips and vertical tail, adding and replacing some panel lines, correcting the main wheel bay doors, adding the vortex generators to top and bottom of the horizontal tail, opening up the small intake on the side of the fuselage, and some other smaller details.

The model was primed using Tamiya white from the rattle can, which was micro meshed down, this was then finished with Tamiya gloss white, Tamiya black and Dark grey to finish the model, a clear coat of Johnsons Klear to seal everything in.

The model depicts, Vickers Valiant XD872 from RAF Honnington 90 Sqd 1963.
