My F-100D Super Sabre is made from the Esci kit.  This is one of my favorite kits and this is the second time I've made it in the past 20 years and I found it to be a stress-free build.

Representing the painted surface on the fuselage near the engine was tricky as the paint in this area was plagued by heat from engine.  This is an unavoidable challenge in creating a F-100 in Vietnam camouflage.  This is overlaid with the airbrush colors made of 0.18mm plastic paper stencil, finished with enamel washing.

Markings are for the 405 TFW 510th TFS in Bien Hoa base using decals from WolfPak Decals "72-025 In Country" decal sheet.  The stencil data came from CAM Decals "1/72 SCALE F-100D Data Stencils" decal sheet.

I will put a solid film decal is cut out of the fine print, but will force the satisfaction of the finished work is pretty high patience.

Some markings were cut from a solid white decal and to get satisfactory results required much patience.

The M117 bombs came from Hasegawa's Weapon Sets.  The F-100 and F-105 will used the M117.

All my best from Japan.
Enjoy!
