1/72 Italeri HC-130E

This is a modification of Italeri's Lockheed C-130E/H Hercules.  I modified it to represent an HC-130E of the California ANG.  Thanks to Wolfpack decals, I had the option of building a Hercules with the Fulton Recovery System!

I scratch built the nose with epoxy putty.   The engines were also elongated by 5 to 7 mm in order to correctly represent the longer engines of the "E" model.   Paint was via warbird acrylics, semi-gloss finish achieved with Future floor wax and Testor's Dullcote!

Hasegawa P-3C Orion as it might have been seen at Moffett Field in the mid 1970's!
