The
kit that I built, is well known, that 's Hasegawa in 1/48 scale, very precise,
but especially with a huge decal sheet, complete with all the stencils! To
the
base kit, I added the Aires resin seat and the open the engine compartment from CMK,
a fabulous finished work. The
assembly is spun very quickly, smoothly, and after completing the interior, I
did a wash with temper, then I was ready to paint outdoors.

Starting
from the red and white: You first apply the flat black base, then
apply the white mat, and after masked with Tamiya tape, I apply the red
mat. After waiting for complete drying, I can start with the
painting with the Aluminum Metalizer from Model-Master, where you can also
differentiate the various panels of the fuselage, again after having
polished the drill. Once
finished the implementation of the metallic finish, you can do the wash
with temper, and then removed with a damp cloth.
This done, apply two coats of gloss varnish to be used as a base for the decals,
softened with the Gunze Mr. Mark Softer and once dry, apply two coats of clear
gloss. At this point I applied the
varnish opaque on individual panels, so as to have a final uneven finish.
I hope that the end result is very realistic, and that it may please you
all.
