I did it again: I
build a Soviet Jet. At the first look nothing special, but there is no kit of a
Sukhoi Su-9 in 1/48, so I took a KoPro Su-7 BKL fuselage, some drawings and 150
hours later...here we go!!
Here are my

I cleaned up the fuselage,
cut the new covers and removed the wing basis, put the tailerons in the
correct position, build the complete wings, the four RS-2US plus pylons,
the exhaust pipe, the maingear, wheels and gearbays, the cockpit and the
seat, the air intake and reworked the vertical fin. The fuel tanks were
taken from an old Trumpeter Su-15TM.
Hope you enjoy it...
I'm waiting hard for
the new Su-24Trumpeter kit which will be released this month. With this kit my
Sukhoi-jet collection will be complete...but there are many Sukhoi Prototyps to
do....
